Take I-76 east from Philadelphia to Exit 77 (Pennhurst Road). Turn left off exit ramp onto Pennhurst Road; then turn right onto New Tripoli Road at flashing red light approximately 1/2 mile from interstate entrance; proceed approximately 2 miles on New Tripoli Road until it intersects with Park Drive (County Line Rd), where you'll see signs for "Pennhurst State School." Turn right onto Park Drive (County Line Rd); go about 1 mile to Pennhurst Campus entrance gatehouse on right side of road just past Lake Como Dr intersection - this will be your first stop before entering campus grounds!

According to these lawsuits, patients were subjected to overcrowding and unsanitary conditions that led to outbreaks of disease at the facility throughout its history as well as physical mistreatment from staff members. The most disturbing accusations included reports that some patients were tied or locked in their rooms for days without food or water until they became unconscious or died from dehydration.
In addition to these allegations, there was also evidence supporting claims that some children were experimented on at Pennhurst by doctors affiliated with nearby Temple University Hospital (TUH). TUH did not admit any wrongdoing but agreed not take any new patients from Pennhurst after signing an agreement with Pennsylvania’s Department of Public Welfare in 1986 stating that no further research would be performed on any child residing at Pennhurst at that time without his or her written consent - even if those children had been abandoned by their parents

During Spooky Time, there are lots of scary things happening. I saw a man who was killed by a rock fall in his cell with his arms outstretched towards me, as if he wanted someone to help him. It was scary but wonderful at the same time!
There are also people who dress up like patients from the past and act like they're patients; I got scared when one lunged at me but then realized that he wasn't trying to hurt me, he just didn't know how else to interact with people anymore since no one visited him for so long!
