Congratulations on your marriage! It's such a special time and the perfect occasion to celebrate with your bride. When it comes to getting her something for her special day, there are lots of options out there, but you want something that is personalized and meaningful to her. Here's a list of ideas that I've found helpful:
Being with someone you love is a gift in and of itself, but on those special occasions when you want to get them a tangible gift, here are some ideas.
A bride is a gift in and of herself, but on those special occasions when you want to get them a tangible gift, here are some ideas.
- If your bride has a hobby or passion that you admire, consider getting her something related to it. For example, if she loves photography and spends hours taking pictures every day, maybe get her some new lenses or a camera bag.
- When in doubt about what to give your bride as an anniversary gift, make sure it’s something she can use on a daily basis. A lot of times one year anniversaries are easy because they fall around the holidays and there are plenty of great items available for purchase then. But if you don’t want to wait until December or January (or if your anniversary falls out-of-season) then go with something that will be useful all year long: try buying them their favorite perfume or cologne at Sephora; getting them their favorite book from Barnes & Noble; getting them tickets for their favorite band’s next show (if they like music); etcetera!
1. His & Her's Robes
- Robes are the perfect wedding gift for any couple!
- They come in every color, pattern and material you can think of.
- You can even get them personalized with the couple's names or have a custom design printed on them!
2. Engraved jewelry for the ring exchange (and maybe both an engagement and wedding band)
Engraved jewelry is a great way to commemorate the engagement and wedding. It can be worn as a reminder of the relationship, and it’s also useful for keeping track of the important dates in your life. If you go that route, choose an engraver that will be able to do both rings at once (i.e., if you order two rings from different jewelers). You don’t want to have two separate engravings done.
3. A memento from the proposal location or a place that means something to your relationship
If you're interested in going the extra mile for your bride, consider giving her a memento of the proposal location or a place that means something to your relationship. Maybe it's that ultra-romantic restaurant where you first went on a date together and started talking about marriage. Or maybe it's that travel companion who helped her see the world in all its glory when she visited Paris for the first time. Either way, a gift like this—a keepsake from an important place in her life—will make her smile every time she remembers it.
4. Chocolates (that can be shared!)
Chocolates are a great gift. They’re a treat, they can be shared and they can be personalized.
For example:
- You could give a chocolate gift certificate to the local chocolatier so your bride-to-be and her friends can get the best chocolate in town. Or, if she prefers to make her own sweets, you could give her a cooking class at the same place!
- If your bride is more into wine than chocolate (or vice versa), consider getting her some wine glasses with their names on them as well as some of their favorite wines. You could also buy them each a bottle of their favorite vintage, but you don’t have to stop there! If you want something fancier than just buying bottles from different wineries (which may or may not even be available), maybe try having custom labels made for each one that says “Alicia’s First Bottle of Champagne Ever!” It will be cute AF when she opens it up on New Years Eve 2020 :)
5. Wine (also to share)
Wine is a great gift for the bride to be. Wine is something that can be enjoyed by you and your partner, or shared with family and friends. Wine bottles make great gifts to mark special occasions like anniversaries, birthdays and other celebrations.
6. Romantic Getaway
- What should you do while you’re on your getaway?
- How far away should it be?
- Where do you want to go?
- How long will it take to get there by car or plane?
When it comes to the perfect gift for your bride, consider what she loves, cherish a memory of your relationship and personalize it just for her.

A great place to start is with one of her favorite hobbies or activities. Does she love reading? A new book by her favorite author would be a great choice! Does she like to work out at the gym? Buy her some new workout gear!
Another way you can give your bride an unforgettable gift is by making sure it has some kind of sentimental value attached to it. You could put together a scrapbook of photos from your relationship so that when she looks at it in years to come, she'll remember how amazing you were together (and maybe even how much fun you used to have). You could also write love letters every day for several months leading up until the big day—and then give them all as one very special present on her wedding day! Now that we’ve given you some ideas, it’s time to decide on one that will be perfect for your bride. We hope these suggestions have helped you along the way!
