When it comes to first dates, most of us are looking for something that’s fun and different. After all, it’s the first time you’ve met this person and you want it to be memorable! So, we've rounded up some of our favorite places in New Jersey where you can go on a date with your significant other. Whether you're an LGBT couple or straight, these are sure-fire ways to make your first date perfect!

Montclair Art Museum

  • You can visit the museum for free, which is great if you’re on a budget or just want to spend some time together.
  • There are many exhibits to choose from. You can easily spend a whole day there and still not see everything!
  • There’s a café where you can get food and drinks if you get hungry (or thirsty).
  • The museum has lots of places to sit and relax in between looking at exhibits.

The Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center

The Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center is a theater located in Montclair, New Jersey. The venue hosts many events that include dance performances and concerts. The center also hosts free events such as film screenings and art exhibitions on a weekly basis. These are great first date ideas because they're easy to get into, but still offer something exciting for both partners to do together.

Citi Field

Citi Field is a big baseball stadium in Queens, New York. It's home to the New York Mets and is one of the most popular spots for baseball fans.

There are many great places to eat at Citi Field including Shake Shack, Blue Smoke BBQ and Peter Luger Steakhouse. There are also many concession stands with food options like beer, hot dogs, pretzels and more!

Citi Field has some great views of Manhattan which makes it an ideal first date spot if you're looking for something fun but not too crazy or expensive.

Paint Your Own Pottery Studio

A painting studio is a great place to spend an afternoon. Paint Your Own Pottery Studio has locations in many cities across America, so you should be able to find one close to where you live.

What to expect: You and your date will get a table at the studio and have all of your supplies provided for you, from brushes and paint to glazes and kilns. You'll work together on painting a piece of pottery (it's okay if you don't know what that is!), which can take between an hour or two depending on how much detail you want in your pieces.

Cost: Prices vary by location, but expect it to be around $20 per person or less depending on how many people are going with you and how long it takes for everyone's pottery pieces to dry before they can pick them up later that week or month (depending on when their next class starts).

How many people can go? Paint Your Own Pottery Studio offers private classes as well as group lessons; check out their website for details! If there aren't enough spots available during one particular time slot then another option would be going somewhere around town instead—just make sure whatever spot(s) looks best matches up with what type(s) of activities interest both parties involved before making any final decisions about which venue works best for everyone involved."

Glen Ridge's Women Artists of the Garden State - First Saturday of Each Month!

The Women Artists of the Garden State is a non-profit art organization dedicated to showcasing and promoting women artists. The group hosts monthly events in various venues around New Jersey, bringing together local artists and community members for a fun night out.

The American Theater at Virginia Beach.

The American Theater is a great location for a first date, especially if you're looking to do something different. It's located in Virginia Beach and is right on the Chesapeake Bay. The theater has been around since 1927, so it has been around for quite some time now! There are many things to do there: they have live performances and concerts, movies in the park, as well as other activities such as live music events and festivals throughout the year. They also have an art gallery where you can view local artists' work or get some inspiration yourself!

There are many restaurants nearby (and we all know how important food is!) so if your date decides that this isn't their cup of tea (or beer), there will be plenty other places nearby where you can take them instead!

The atmosphere at The American Theater is very cozy with its low lighting levels giving off more romantic vibes than anything else; perfect for couples who want somewhere quiet where they can get away from busy streets with lots of traffic noises around them (which can sometimes make people feel uncomfortable). Also being situated right by water makes this venue even better because if there’s nothing else going well then at least they've got that lovely view during sunset times :)

The Norfolk Botanical Gardens.

The Norfolk Botanical Gardens is a great place to go on a first date. It is a beautiful place to visit and take photos, as well as enjoy nature. The gardens are large with several different areas for visitors to explore. There are plenty of places to have lunch or dinner at the gardens too!

First Landing State Park.

First Landing State Park is a great place to go on a first date. It’s in Virginia Beach, VA and has a lot of things to do, like hiking trails and picnic areas. There are also some great views of the Chesapeake Bay! First Landing State Park is the perfect place for an LGBT couple to have their first date because it’s beautiful and there are so many things they can do together there.

Nauticus National Maritime Center and Battleship Wisconsin.

If you're looking for a unique spot to take your date, we recommend Nauticus and the Battleship Wisconsin.

Nauticus is an interactive science museum that's full of high-tech exhibits and hands-on learning. It's also an important part of Norfolk's history—the building was once the home of the battleship USS Wisconsin, which helped defend the United States during World War II. After being decommissioned in 1955, it was converted into a maritime center in 1999. Now visitors can explore its decks and learn about the role ships play in our history through interactive exhibits and displays that explain everything from shipbuilding to navigation tools used by sailors like compass needles pointing toward true north (a term often used interchangeably with geographic north).

The Battleship Wisconsin is open from 10am until 6pm daily except Thanksgiving Day; admission costs $12 per person at time of publication but is subject to change without notice so check with your local attraction before visiting if cost matters most!

There are many sites and locations that are great for a first date!

If you’re looking for somewhere to go on your first date, there are many sites and locations that are great for an LGBT couple to have a first date! Here is a list of places to go on a first date:

A local coffee shop (easy and casual)

A park or outdoor activity like hiking or biking (outdoor activity will allow you both to get some fresh air)

With these suggestions, you can take your date to one of the best locations in your area. You'll have a great time with any of these options!
